Scott Kelby's 2nd annual International Photowalk

Scott Kelby's photowalk for Houston, Texas was held at the Houston Zoo. We were allowed in 30 minutes early but I don't why we were. Fifty of us were eager to get started this morning. We would have liked some shots before the sun got hotter and therefore harder to take a photo.

My first shot was of a dog playing in the elephant pen while the zoo keepers swept up elephant dung. I wonder what the elephants think of his playing with their toys. Another lady told me that her first picture was of a bee in a flower. Guess you get the drift of where I am going with this. The animals were not in their areas except for the Merkats. So we huddled around trying to take pictures of these cuties.

Now this fellow (in the pic above) has begun his day "thinking". Thoughtful fellow. Probably a deep thinker. He was just so content.
