I really wanted to be productive today. I am sure you have those days.
The roofers came so early this morning. For 10 hours today (they are still working) I have listen to banging, the sound of their possibly coming thru the roof when they slam the bags of shingles down, the dogs acting they are going thru the window to eat the guys. So I turned on my music. It has not helped to lessen the noise.
I started updating my bookmarks. If you are a person who has a lot, you know what I am going to say, don't you? You go to a website to see if it still working or still being updated. You see a link on the right side and off you go. Hours later you notice the tool bar at the bottom so a hundred pages open. All right, not that many, but you still know to what I refer to. Next you come to a web site you want to be friend or follower of. Off yo go sailing again of that great big sea called Internet. It is bigger and wider than the Gulf of Mexico. Maybe even the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans. 10 hours later, you are exhausted. Can't remember where you started this morning.
Was I able to update or delete non working sites. I have no idea.

Times Flies
I have been awhile since I last posted. I had spinal surgery and have recovered nicely. So it is back to whinning, or posting about interesting things.
I am now an empty nester. Currently this feels good. Really good. Peace and quiet. Why I should be able to get a thousand things done that I have been wanting to do - ha right. I have two thousands things to do and the days seem shorter and hotter. Sultry. Sauna room. Don't need to go sit in a steamy room, just walk outside and the humidity hits you like a 2x4 board.
Since my time this afternoon is flying by without an agenda, I do promise to make a list of things I need to get done each day, including time to blog, research I need to do for the novel I am writing and me time. Me time will include going to the pool to do pool walking to build up those lower back muscles, finish reading that old book on the last battle of the American Civil War. Then I will have to schedule time for cooking and cleaning. Once I get organized, time will free up (gulp, I hope). I am closing out this blog post. See ya around the web.
