Glorious change in weather

OMG! Walked outside early this morning and the "cool" front decided to stay. If it wasn't raining I would open the windows and turn off the a/c. But I can't do that. Open the windows.

I haven't seen the squirrel today. Perhaps I will see her later this afternoon if the rain has stopped. Her feeder is just outside my bedroom window so I can watch her when she comes. NO I don't spend my day standing at the window in order to see her. I write. So I am sitting at my desk and I look up when I hear her.

Grandson is here today. He spent the night. He is now 16 months old and is quite the adorable grandchild. I just love to sit and watch him.

Koolin off

This is Kobe. He is the latest add-on in the household of Welch. Buddy doesn't quite know what to think. Buddy harrasses Kobe yet he will defend Kobe in a heart beat. Guess that makes for a brother.

Buddy really hates the water. Kobe loves the water. We went and purchased a baby swimming pool for Kobe. I hope this will keep him out of the water bowl which is in the house. Needless to note, the kitchen gets mopped twice a day now.
