Coastal views

Ike. Ike, Rita and Katrina. All are hurricanes. All are hurricanes that hit the coastal regions of Louisiana and Texas. All are hurricanes that has impact ed this area for generations to come. Devastating results, destroyer of lives, income, school systems, way of life. Churches that use to be a places of worship, of comfort, of restoration now needs to be comforted and restored.

Took a leisurely trip down the coast of Texas into Louisiana. To say that Louisiana looked like a war bombed zone does not do it justice in descriptions. Miles and miles of bombed out homes, trailers, churches and a school. The area was hard to look at without shedding tears. I could not take pictures of the destruction. I could only shoot the beach. Will share those over the next few days. Needless to say, it is not the same.
