All is right with the world this morning

Mrs. Barney has had her babies from the look of it. Glad that I am feeding her as this will help the babies be healthy. Yes, I know that squirrels are part of the rat family. I use to have a Flying Squirrel for a pet as a child. This squirrel pet, I named after some Disney movie of that time period. I can still recall the name. Funny, it originally was a name of a cat. Cats eat squirrels.

The picture is of a fountain, Gus Wortham Fountain in Houston. It is a large fountain and I have cropped this picture down. Each faucet looks like it is spraying wheels of water. Wes and I use to go there. We use to always make sure we had our wedding anniversary off from work. We would go out to eat lunch at a restaurant we had never been to then we would stop by the fountain and have our picture taken with the fountain.

We don't take off from work anymore on the day. It has just become just another day in the struggle to make ends meet and raise the kids. Now the girls are grown. Barb is married and living in Denver. Whit has a long-term boyfriend and they have a baby, our first grandchild and they live with us and neither one of them work. Morgan will go off to school, hopefully, if we can scrape the money together this fall.

No, this is not a doom and gloom session about the kids or about the empty nest. We will always have Whit (bipolar) and Cliff (ex-offender if he can keep out of trouble) and Jason (trying to provide him balance and stability of life). No, just talking about how we woke up today and so far it seems to be a normal one for us.
