Weather

Every afternoon for a week now, here in the Texas Gulf Coast, we are getting thunderstorms. Sometimes on our side of town we get the thunder and lightening but no amount of rain. Other times we get heavy rain drops but they don't last long. Other other times we get a nice rain.

I wish a lot of this rain would go west to the Hill Country. I have seen pictures of Lake Travis (oops, not much water in it at all). Some people say what Lake Travis. Some people had water front properties and now you can't even see any water for miles. Now would be a good time to do all the dock repair work, clean up the trash, make some "lake" improvements in front of your place. I have heard a few weather forecaster said that even a hurricane would not help at this point, that it will take 10 years or more to refill the lake. Well, a hurricane would add some water back. Wouldn't hurt it. Might even be able to pick up a piece of property cheap. Have to wait and see on that.

Rain rain go away.....no wait rain. Come back again today.
