Hospitals

I give credit to whomever did the drawing, you know who you are. I just liked it, plain and simple. I might do one of my own.

I haven't blogged in a month. Been gone to Arkansas. Then I had to come home to be there if my daughter's father-n-law died. He had a double bypass. Was suppose to spend 6 days in the hospital then go home. Not sure what happened but during the second week in hospital a, the doctor thought hospital a was not doing their job correctly. In fact, the doctor said that his quality of health care was so poor that the father-n-law would die if they didn't move him. To summarize, even though the man has now spent 6 weeks in the hospital B, who gets a grade of A in patient care, the man looked 100% better than what he had looked. I have prayed for this man nearly every night. I think I missed one night, maybe two. Which is a record for me. Usually my meds send me into never never land of sleep before I even finish my prayers.

Monday blahs and excitement of a little kind

I enjoyed my visit with my friend in Arkansas. Even though it rained off and on every day that I was there, I did manage to get in a few picture taking opportunities.

Benny, my daughter's father in law has been in the hospital going on 4 weeks. Originally he was suppose to be there just 5 days for a double by=pass and a heart valve replacement. But not all good things happened. The original hospital did not met their level of quality standard and his doctor transported him to another hosp. He has been on a vent ever since. Nurses have told me that he isn't getting any worse but then again he is not getting any better. I took two pictures of Jason, the grandson that we share, and the nurses placed the pictures where he can see them. I took some more photos of Jason today. I'll print them out and bring them in to him.

I spent most of today taking care of Jason and Kobe. Kobe is the new dog in the household. I had let him and Buddy out to go potty. Kobe came in and was bleeding all over the place. I found that he had ripped off a part of his pad on the front paw. I called my husband home to come help. Now you may think it silly to call your spouse home from work. However, I needed help. I got Kobe to sit next to me and I place his paw on a cold washrag. I held it there but the paw kept on bleeding. Jason, although only 15 months olds took advantage of my being "grounded" with Kobe. First, the vhs tapes came out of the cabinet. Then the tv got turned off and on and off and on and...well, you get the picture. I also needed to clean up the blood off the kitchen floor and the carpeting. So now you have the picture without my adding more about what was going on. Hence the phone call, "help!"
