New job

It's the little things that count. I mean, really little things. My new job is 24 hours of doing really little things but oh so important!

My new job is as a caretaker for two older adults that are in not so good health. So all the little things I do for them are so greatly appreciated. Little things like warming a heating pillow up in the microwave, or bring them a snack, or washing bed sheets that have been peed on my accident. Little things like looking in on them to see if they want anything or need me to do something brings showers of thanks.

Besides, these are two wonderful people who live their lives within their bedroom day in and day out and love my cooking. What more could I ask for? Appreciation by the bucket.

Other blogs

I have been reading different blogs of late. Interesting comment on people what they think is interesting to other people. Some of the blogs are neat. I bookmarked those. Others I just read and smiled or scratched my head as I just didn't get what they were talking about. Some spoke a different language - like FFS as well as NHS. What is FFS and what is NHS? See, it's a foreign language all its on. Maybe if I text message or Twittered I would get all of this language.

I like this pic. The clouds looked soft, like cotton balls. I lightened the Hemisphere tower to give it a balance. I have another photo where the Hemisphere is blackened.

Best go to bed. I need to pray for my blogger friend David and his wife Janette. I think they live in England. She needed surgery so long ago on her kidneys...more than 6 months ago. She was operated on Wednesday. Although she came through the surgery fine, she is still having much pain. The doctors were only able to get to one kidney stone but not the second one. Drs. said they would come back in a couple of months to get the other one. Why not get it now. Why put her into this position again. Will it take 6 months or more for the second operation to occur? How frustrating it must be for David and their girls to have their wife and mother go through so much pain. I'm sure David could cuss up a storm. I would like to think my husband would cuss as loudly as David wants to scream.

Saturday, July 24

If I thought yesterday was depressing, today wasn't any better. The grandson is sick with some kind of stomach flu and now my daughter has the flu. Which is different from the stomach flu that the baby has. My friend in England, his wife is in incredible pain, and I think of them often during the day for relief from the pain and for both to get rest..mental as well as physical.

Not much on tv today. Even what is on isn't worth watching as it pixelates all the time. Thank you FCC for going digital. Lousy picture and non existent audio. If I was able to say something to the FCC, they would probably pass the buck of the problem to the tv station. Of course the tv station would pass the buck to the FCC. Reminds me of the song, "Wheels of the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round, the wheels of the bus....wheels of the FCC go round...Well you get the picture.
.oops. That picture is pixelating.
