Happy Chinese New Year everyone. I wish you prosperity in this new year. Although the actual date is Monday, we will celebrate today. Having pork spare ribs, french fried onion rings, corn and ranch beans. Like a Thanksgiving feast. Our daughter's boyfriend is Chinese American. He is teaching us about their culture, yet he is an all american boy. Yet, his Chinese background is so refreshing. He is mannerly, shows care and respect to our daughter. Never talks trash.He dad died back in August, I felt so crushed as a 18 year old boy still needs his father. Although I had never met his dad, I do see and feel his influence over his son. The man and his wife did a wonderful job in raising him. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Chow.
