Halloween and sharing - Thank You Cliff

Our grandson and his custodial father, and his other grandmother and us all went trick-or- treating the other night together. There are times when we can all get along. But like a marriage, there are times when we can not. Yet, it was great that the custodial father and his parents asked us if we wanted to go with them. I know it is not easy when families are divided. Thank you Cliff for sharing Jason with us on Halloween night and at the Scribbles Fall Festival.

He was much fun.  As grandparents, we enjoy the heck out of him. At two years old, he is full of amazement, learning, thinking and getting into so many things.

Dressed as a pirate he was precious. Halloween night, at the first stop, the people thought he was so cute they gave him two pieces of candy. You could almost see his little eyes hitting the jackpot at a casino. Next stop, he waited for 2 pieces of candy. Next stop, we had to tell him only one piece. Ok, no problem. Next house, people gave him two pieces. From then on, 2 pieces was his due. He walked nearly the whole 2 miles that we walked. I was so proud of him and the way he carried his pumpkin bucket.

Needless to say, after eating several pieces of candy (I was amazed that he really didn't eat that much.) I was glad he was going home to daddy. Figured he would be up a long time. The little scooter proved me wrong.
