Wow, what a weekend!

Wes surprised Jason and I with a wonderful Saturday outing. We drove to Prairie View/Hempstead, Texas to watch a civil war reenactment. One of the best Saturdays I have had in a long time. Lots of children, lots of boy scouts, women and children dressed in the appropriate dress of the day. Vendors galore. I talked for a lengthy time to a blacksmith. He had a trove of information for me. Jason saw lots of horses, cows and loads of dogs. Big dogs, little dogs and puppies. Can you believe that I took 352 photos?
